Heritage PeopleAnthony T. Stephens co-founded the Heritage Property Group, Inc., in 1992 and is the principal officer of its affiliated companies. Tony manages the Heritage development team activities including acquisition, zoning, marketing, leasing and sales, financial affairs and the activities of professional consultants and contractors. Tony previously co-founded the Argent Group of Chicago. The Argent Group gained recognition in the late 1980s for leading the redevelopment of the Clybourn manufacturing corridor into a retail shopping district, developing specialty centers in high-profile regional mall location, and luxury townhome development. Tony also completed condominium conversions and formed limited partnerships to manage, own and renovate multi-family apartments. Tony has served for 11 years on the Board of Lutheran Child and Family Services of Illinois (LCFS) and was Board Chair for three years. LCFS is a 400-employee human care agency providing services that include adoption, foster care, residential care and family counseling. Tony also is Board Chair of Hope for Grieving Children Africa (HGCA), with a mission to relieve the impact of grief on children who have lost their parents. He previously served as a board member of the Center for Ethics and Corporate Policy (CECP) in Chicago from 1992 to 1994. As a member of the planning and program committees, Tony co-authored and led seminars on the subject of values and ethical behavior in work life. Don Baker, Real Property Management, was previously with Equity Properties and Development Limited Partnership, and River Forest Bancorp. Don is a consulting advisor in shopping center management and financial analysis. Peter Gloodt is Director of Acquisition and Advisory Service. His experience includes commercial brokerage, investment underwriting and more than 22 years of appraisal and valuation counseling services for challenging valuation situations and complex ownership interests. Examples of his expertise include equity ownership interests in mixed-use complexes subject to complex loan structures, equity member interests of minority partners in LLCs, quasi-equity lease interest in Class A office buildings, component asset allocation analysis for hospitality and other operating properties, conservation easements, sandwich lease interests, ground leases, air right ownership and leasehold interests, TIF agreements, franchise agreements, management agreements, development agreements, partial interests and easements. Peter has an M.S. in real estate appraisal and investment analysis from the University of Wisconsin and B.B.A. from the University of Florida. Laurie Rogers is the Heritage office manager and brings years of administrative experience with diverse real estate consulting and appraisal service firms. |
